Date, agteruit brings an international dating format to South Africa in Afrikaans, turning the traditional relationship timeline completely on its head. Instead of starting with a first date, couples experience their relationship in reverse order, beginning with the honeymoon, followed by the wedding, meeting the family and finally their first date.
Only after moving through each stage of the relationship backwards do the couples decide whether they want to continue the relationship in real life.
